Each of the six deluxe edition portfolio includes 10 photographs from photographer Paul Thulin-

Jimenez and written responses from 10 different Puerto Ricans. Each portfolio is unique, with different cover designs made from Riso prints from Thulin-Jimenez’s photographic series “Isla de Las Palmas.” Each portfolio contains ten custom folders with the writer’s name on it containing one 8.5 x 11-inch photograph from Isla de Las Palmas” as well as reproductions of each writer’s handwritten response printed on Moab Estrada Rag (190 gsm) paper with archival pigment inks

Designed specifically for university and cultural center libraries and collections, this portfolio operates as an exhibition, historical document, and educational tool.. Each photograph was selected by the writer to act as a visual prompt to be paired with their response to the question “What wisdom do you have for a future generation of Puerto Ricans 100 yrs from your present?” Participants include well known and respected Puerto Rican scholars, musicians, poets, visual artists, and a range of different generations.
