Each of the six deluxe edition portfolio includes 10 photographs from photographer Paul Thulin-Jimenez and written responses from 10 different Puerto Ricans. Designed specifically for university art museums and collections, this portfolio operates as an exhibition and educational tool.Each portfolio is unique with different cover designs made from Riso prints of Thulin-Jimenez’s photographic series “Isla de Las Palmas.” Each individual portfolio contains ten custom folders with the writer’s name on it containing one 8.5 x 11 inch photograph from Isla de Las Palmas” aswell as reproductions of each writer’s handwritten response printed on Moab Estrada Rag (190 gsm) paper with archival pigment inks. Each photograph was selected by the writer to act as a visual prompt to be paired with their response to the question “What wisdom do you have for a future generation of Puerto Ricans 100 yrs from your present?”
